"We are newcomers to the Club and have been made to feel very welcome from day one.  The kids have found new friends, as have us bigger kids. It's wonderful to see the kids engaged in non-electronic, good old fashioned fun whilst the adults enjoy some well earned down time too.  Going on the monthly rallies forces us to break the otherwise "easy to get stuck in" routine.  We get to visit places we didn't even know existed or we wouldn't have had access to on our own.  Special activities and outings are a delight and we look forward to catching up with people in the Club each rally. "My husband and I are one of the families that are founding members of the Family Caravan Club. Since our first visit we have felt the rewards of the benefits of joining.  That trip once a month has not only allowed us to use our caravan on a regular basis, but also given us the rest and relaxation that we crave as parents and business owners.  We have made some friendships that will last the rest of our lifetime.  Our children have grown over the years and have enjoyed attending the rallies, visiting new places and socialising with the other children and adults.  Now, in ttear late teens, they still join us every month. We wouldn't forfeit the taste of such a wonderful lifestyle that has given our family so much enjoyment."

 "Our family have been members of the Club since its conception back in 2007.  Along the way, we have had some great rallies and seen so much of South east Queensland with the odd venture on extended rallies to Stanthorpe and Kingaroy,  The Family Caravan Club has given us the opportunity to make great new friends who share our view that we have a van and want to use it more than once or twice a year and heading out once a month is just what we were after.  Our son, who is 11 years old enjoys himself that much we have to hold him down just to eat. The kids all get on well and are either riding bikes, playing spotlight or doing organised activities (on the odd occasion) and basically just being kids.  They don't look for computers, video games or watching TV during the day because they are too busy playing - it's great to see and it doesn't cost money.  And for the adults, we get to sit back and relax, chat to each other, join the kids in a game of touch footy, or just see the sights of the local areas we visit.  We even had bingo at one rally for the kids and adults - all good fun.  One of the attractions to the Club for us is that you can please yourself as to what rallies you go to, as we have our own business, we need flexibility as sometimes we can't always make it or some sporting committment is on the same weekend.  If you like making the most of your van and weekend getaways with the kids and meeting great people, this is the Club for you."

"We bought a caravan as a means for our shy little girl to experience "life". Then we joined the Family Caravan Club and what a great education all three of us have received.  We have formed new friendships and journeyed to new places we would never have considered on our own.  The venues are always kid friendly and usually inexpensive as the rallies are organised by fellow members who look out for great deals and great locations.  Our first rally was Stanthorpe and the weekend was filled with family friendly activities.  The kids hit it off straight away and the shy little girl now runs with the best of them. Love that our van gets used regularly for the monthly rallies and the decision of where we are going has already been made.  Our weekends away feel like a mini-holidays now.  Wished we had joined sooner.
